A Letter From Our Board of Directors

For 58 years, the Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home has provided the children and families in the El Paso region a “hand to hold onto during difficult times.”

The home has been a steadfast refuge of hope for more than 30,000 disadvantaged, neglected, and/or abused individuals. Many who we have served call us “home” for years after they leave our doors. The loving stability they find at Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home carries on throughout their lives and into the lives of their own children. Where there was once despair, there is now hope, and with it, an opportunity to achieve goals and dreams.

As El Paso has grown, the demand for our services is greater than ever. We have a waiting list for our residential services and frequently must turn children away. These are children with real needs who are experiencing physical and sexual abuse, neglect, broken homes, and/or substance abuse. They need a safe place to learn, grow, and overcome difficult life challenges. We need to build our capacity to be able to serve these children—now and in the future.

In addition, the existing cottages that are home to the children in our care are in need of repairs and updating. These cottages need new kitchens and bathroom facilities, new carpet, and furniture. It’s time for an investment in the future of Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home.

In August of 2016, we proudly opened two new homes for 16 children. As we look to the future, we hope to open our doors to 16 more children in need. Our goal is to begin construction on two more new homes in the near future. In addition, we always have necessary repairs and updates to our existing cottages so that our children can be comfortable and safe.

To help make these new cottages a reality, we ask that you assist us in any way that you are able. We are accepting donations of both cash and in-kind goods and services.

Whatever you can offer, your gift is gratefully and truly appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Won’t you reach out and help us provide a home for a child?
